    Windows 10 $50 Promo Credit disappears without warning

    I received a $50 promo credit for buying a new PC with Windows 10 and with no warning my credit "expired" (don't know why it would expire) and I can no longer use the remaining amount ($33). Was going to continue buying games but will have to look elsewhere
    to buy them.

    Yes, the system will do a split payment between what's in your account and your other payment method.

    Right from the FAQ page:

    Yes. For most purchases, if the amount of local currency in your Microsoft account is not sufficient to pay for the content, you can charge the remainder to your credit card or PayPal account. PayPal availability varies by region. However, you must first
    select to purchase using your credit card or PayPal account, and then you will see the option to use the remaining currency in your account. Split payment may not be an option for all content purchases.

    yeah you go buy a PS3 and be disappointed in everything because of a CC issue now. Have you considered calling xbox support or you just gonna sit and *** in a forum. they will help out on the phone if not they will enter the card for you into our account
    so when you go into it on your console it will list the card. I know because I worked for MS as an xbox support agent forever. So call em wait it out if they are busy and your problem will be resolved

    @ damn0dirty0ape - nice suggestion but I tried today and found out that retail stores only sell GOLD prepaid cards and not FAMILY PACK prepaid cards ... so that would cost me $180 for 3 accts compared to $99 for the family pack of 4.

    ???? anyone ???? there has to be a solution to this. I've seen multiple threads and posts about this issue but no resolutions.

    I'm having the same problems. I can't even enter my credit card on xbox.com as it keeps telling me to enter a valid visa number when it's exactly how it appears on my card. Not quite sure what do to with this one..I've tried setting up my port forwarding
    with xbox360, clearing the cache for xbox live marketplace and nothing seems to fix this.
