Buying Wife New Tv...

hello, my wife has been gaming on the xbox one on a 720P Plasma for a very long time now and I have decided to buy her a new 1080P 120 Hz Vizio 55" smart tv... I have read that smart tv no matter what brand have horrible latency issues... can anyone confirm
or deny this?

Yeah, I've used that excuse too whenever my wife wanted me to hold off on buying a new game.

I play my console on a smart TV. It is a Vizio 42 inch smart TV and I don't have any issues at all. I am not sure of the exact model number.

Most TVs also have a game mode that helps reduce latency. My visio 55 does.

have had 3 different smart TV'S and never had a issue with it. 2 LG's and a Samsung also never had to use game mode.

I did hear this was an issue with Samsung tv's which is not so good because my wife came home on Saturday with a new Samsung crystal tv. Not tried it with the series s yet. I'm not allowed to steal her new tv.

Amen to this thread! Wife/kid aggro combined with a TV with only one HDMI input. Far cheaper to upgrade the TV than the wife, but still....
