Buying things on Xbox Live with both Microsoft account and pay the rest by credit card?

I was thinking about buying one thing on Xbox Live it costs 249 Swedish krona and wonder if you have 100 Swedish krona in my Microsoft account, if you can take them first and then pay the rest with my credit card? Or can i only use the creditcard?

Purchasing a game

I want to buy a game on my xbox with the money in my Microsoft account, but I don't have enough. Is there a way I can use that money and then pay the rest by credit card? I don't want to have to go buy another currency card and then have excess money left
over, I just want to pay the exact amount

I can't buy games online on the Xbox Store, when I confirm the payment of any game, it says "Use a different way to pay. Your purchase can't be completed with this payment option. Try a different or new way to pay."

I tried with an adult account, with a different credit card, I tried buying it on xbox.com and I contacted the microsoft support twice but I still get the same message.

And both of the credit cards (mastercards to be accurate) are working : I recently tried them.

 

You should be given the option to use what's in your account balance & then paying the rest by credit/debit card at the confirm purchase screen.

 

I have tried but the amount of 100 Swedish krona on my account is grayed out and I can not use them only creditcard?

 

What are you trying to buy?

Some things can`t be bought with your account balance, such as gold time.

 

As Daft said, when you make the purchase with your card, you should be given the option to use the rest of the funds from your account. You have to choose the credit card first.

 

It´s The Crew: Seasons Pack im buying. Now I have found how to do the payment, when I press purchase I get an option to select my account money or skip it and pay everything with my credit card. If I take the 100 Swedish krona from Microsoft account, it
will take the rest of the amount from my credit card. I didn´t know that first so i thought it would take the whole amount from my credit card. So now I know. Thanks for the help.
