    Buying Rocket League for XBOX ONE without giving a credit card number


    Hello XBOX One Support,

    I've tried several ways to contact XBOX One Game support, but no luck, unfortunately.

    My son wants to buy Rocket League for XBOX One (costs €20,00.) The only way seems to buy is to enter a credit card number by name.

    I'm not very happy entering creditcard numbers, as a lot of providers are not able to protect these CC numbers. Therefore other options are available like Paypal, or what we use in the Netherlands iDeal. Safe payments. I've tried various ways to send my question
    to XBOX support, unfortunately i was not able to send my question via email, my chat session with XBOX was not a succes. So .... XBOX redirected me to this forum to post my question. Well here I'm .

    My question:

    Are there other ways to buy Rocket League for XBOX One, without using a creditcard number by name?

    I've tried VISA prepaid, but no luck, the credit card number needs to be assign to a name.

    I know that CC payments are common in the US. But they are not in the Netherlands, matter of trust I guess.

    I'm unsure if there's an issue with PayPal, but if you want gold without giving a credit or debit card number, you could always just buy the subscription cards at a retailer.

    Hello

    You can purchase redeemable Xbox Currency cards to purchase content from the Xbox Store instead of adding a creditcard. I believe you do still need to set up a billing address but that shouldn't require a creditcard just your address is your Xbox asks for
    it.

    Since you're from the Netherlands you can find the currency cards in stores like "Bart Smit", "Mediamarkt", "GameMania" and others. Besides the currency cards you can also buy subscription cards there in case you were planning to play online.

    Just a little warning Subscription cannot be bought with the currency cards. Currency cards can only be used to purchase non subscription content from the Xbox Store, for example;Games, Add-ons, movies

    hi there,

    unfortunately there is no way to gift credits for the xbox version of the game, the only way to do this would be to trade items between accounts, however you can purchase gift cards either online or at local stores to which you could either give your son
    the physical gift card to redeem or pass him on the code to then buy credits for rocket league, hope this helps.
