Buying new xbox one

Hello, I'm interested in buying a new xbox one and I'd be glad if you could help me answering my questions

1) Are there any other models of console that have got different CPUs or random-access memory chips ?

2) I was wondering of buying on american Amazon and bringing it to Poland. My question is that if it would be fully compatible in European region and if it would work perfectly European games, Xbox live and power supplying.

3) When I will have already bought it from Amazon where will the service have place ? Will it be service in Poland or I will be made to send it to the USA. Thanks in advance for your help, Bartosz Kijania

No, we dont need a new Xbox, people just want a new one for the sake of buying a new one, the 360 is doing just fine.

 

01 - I'm not really sure what you mean.

02 - The Xbox One itself is region free for games. For Blu-Ray and DVD movies it's region locked, so if you bought an American one it would be locked to region 1. You need to make sure you have the correct power supply though, as Poland uses 230 Volts and
America uses 110. You would either need to get the correct PSU for your country, or you'd need to use a step down transformer.

03 - I'm not sure about the situation with warranties.

Is there any reason why you're buying from the USA and not from a European country?

 

1) I'm new in this whole topic console and i heard that there was xbox 360 slim, normal or exclusive? They've got some differences between memory or other parameters. I want to be sure that I’m buying the best one

2) Is there only one Blu-Ray region for each country in Europe?

I found xbox one in USA 600 zł (150 E) chipper than polish one :/

 

Ah, OK. I see what you mean now.

Currently, there is only 1 model of Xbox One (the console itself), although it's available with or without Kinect and the console may also come bundled with certain games. It's not like the 360 where you had the old "fat" model, then the 360 S, plus some
used memory units, some had hard drives etc. We will almost certainly see hardware revisions later on, with bigger hard drives, maybe different colours of console etc., but right now the consoles themselves are all the same.

Most European countries are region B for Blu-Ray, although a handful are region C. Here's an article that you might find helpful: -

If you bought an Xbox One from America, you would only be able to play region A and region free Blu-Ray discs, although that only applies to movies as game discs are region free on the Xbox One.

 

By the way, regarding the price, take into account any import tax and shipping costs, plus the cost of either a replacement power supply or voltage converter, and also consider the issue with the warranty and the Blu-Ray region for movies. You may be better
off buying from, say, the French version of Amazon, as an Xbox One bought from there will work just fine in Poland (I'm 99% sure anyway) as France uses the same voltage and plug design, plus it will be region B for Blu-Ray movies.. It might work out cheaper
and more convenient in the end.
