Buying movie from a different region?

Avengers infinity war is coming out in a few days in the US for download. I live in Europe and this is not available until later in August. Is there anyway I can change my Xbox settings so that I can buy it on the US store and play it on my console in Europe?
Haha pretty desperate to see this film! Would appreciate any advice

Each movie is different. Price also varies based if you select SD or HD. You also pay in Microsoft points. Based on personal experience however, SD movies can range from 350-450 points & HD movies can be doubled (700-800) per movie. Again, it varies from
movie to movie and you pay in microsoft points. If you decide to download the movie instead, since you are buying the movie rather than renting it expect to pay over 1000 points per movie

Buying games from a different region.

The only reason I have to do this is to take advantage of the GWG and DWG program for August.

Hit the xbox logo on your controller, go to settings. Then select System. You should find "Language & location". Select United States and you're done!

Hi,

is there any reason in particular you cannot wait until the console launches in your region to start buying the games? Digital titles are not bound by region restrictions like disc-based games once were (no longer the case as the Xbox One is region free,
meaning any game on disc from any region will work on a console in any region).

As for migrating your account to a different region, it can only be done once every 3 months so you would be stuck with a US account until the end of November.
