    Buying Live With Prepaid Credit Cards In Canada


    I am having a hell of a time buying the 1$ month promotion with a prepair mastercard I just bought. Its been 2 hours i authorized the postal code, wont get authorisation on the xbox one itself so I went to xbox.ca to do it. Took me half hour to finally get
    around xboxs stupid region system and make it stay in canada but once I finally thought i had the problem fixed i also got the pbr9012 error on the computer too. I know this card is authorized and ive read people having problems in canada using prepaid credit
    cards just wondering if someone has a fix to this issue?

    Gold subscription does not except prepaid cards.edit

    Doesn't trust banks or credit card companies. Tries to use their pre-paid cards.

    I fear for this person's future when they try to buy a house with no credit. Maybe they are rich and will just buy it out right with their mattress money.

    As for a solution to your problem, use your prepaid card from a company you don't trust to buy a 12-month or 3-month Xbox Live Gold card from the store.

    Which type of Prepaid credit card does Xbox accept?

    I just wanted to know which kind of prepaid credit card works on xbox live i live in canada and should i get a prepaid visa or should i get a prepaid mastercard is there even a difference? well please leave suggestion on which type of prepaid credit card

    Buying Live With Prepaid Credit Cards In Canada

    Well for one its not a bug in the system it's the card you are using

    Most prepaid creditcards won't work with most online services and for a 1 dollar purchase you can't because of the built in restrictions of the cards

    Prepaid creditcards have a minimum transaction limit and pretty sure it's going to be more then a 1 dollar in some cases 10 bucks

    Your basic per transaction fee is 1.25 the very least upto 3 dollars or more depending on the card provider

    Also most won't allow online transactions or reoccurring purchases

    If you turn those two on you also need to register it with billing info on the card providers website

    Like I said you are more likely to survive Russian roulette then getting a prepaid card to work online

    You can google prepaid credit card issues with online e services it's not limited to one services

    And FYI you can't buy the dollar deal on the website

    If the Credit should be for Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass subscriptions I would recommend a prepaid Card for that. If you want to give him credit for buying games or dlc you could add the prepaid Xbox credit cards for it.

    You cannot buy Gold LIVE time with points. The only way you can LIVE time is buy purchasing it on the console with a credit card or by purchasing prepaid LIVE time cards.
