Buying Left 4 Dead 2 on the Series X (DIGITAL)

So recently I just tried to purchase Left 4 Dead 2 on the series X and finally figured it out after painstakingly checking forums for answers to all of my questions, so here's a real concise look on what needs to be done.

The game MUST be purchased from either the xbox 360 marketplace (assuming you still have one) or xbox.com. When you go on xbox.com to search for left 4 dead 2, DO NOT use the autocomplete and follow the link to microsoft.com, instead fill out the entire title and you will find it on xbox.com available for purchase. Below is also a link to the page I used from xbox.com to purchase the game (US region):

You must now sign into your microsoft account (the one associated with your gamer profile) in order to link the purchase to your xbox. Note that you MUST use a credit card to purchase the game. I tried with my VISA for quite some time and was only left with a never ending loading screen after confirming my purchase. After switching to the Mastercard, everything seemed fine. (More tests will have to be run to confirm if this is a credit vs debit card problem, or if my visa just simply wasn't working properly, however I had just used it to buy Dead by Daylight the day before)

This was seriously frustrating, as not only did I have to jump through hoops to find the game, but I also had to troubleshoot the payment as I could not find ANYWHERE telling me why my purchase wasn't confirming (and the infinite loading loop was not helpful)

It is also worth mentioning that if these methods do not work, it appears that the game is region locked, so be sure that your account region is one in which the game is available (I'm in the US) - you can easily change regions on microsoft.com, but be wary- as you can only change regions once every couple of months.

Once the purchase is confirmed, sign into your profile on the xbox (series X or XONE) and you should find the title under ready to download! I cannot confirm if this also works for the DLC (as I already had them from purchase on the xbox360 WAYY back), but I would assume that it should work the same (the links for their purchase can be found on the same webpage!)
