Buying Halo Wara 2 on xbox live is a nightmare

So the point of buying on xbox live is to receive the product immediately..... why would you have to wait 7 - 10 days to get a code but it takes them less than 2 seconds to take your money, how about microsoft wait7-10 business day for me to decide to pay
them or not .... you could probably get the code mailed to you faster than you get it from buying online......

    :)

Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition removed

    Dear support team,

I've bought Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition on march 29 2017

Recently, I realized that this edition was removed from the store, and a new eition named "Halo Wars 2 Complete Edition" appeared.

I've paid 90€ for the Ultimate Edition, and now a 70€ Complete Edition has the season pass and awakening the nightmare

I don't really see the point, that those who give a lot of money at the beginning are rewarded like that...

Just after the anouncement of "Awakening the Nightmare", we could see this :

Q: How much will Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare cost?

A: Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare will cost $19.99 USD.

Q: Does Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare come with the Season Pass? Will it be purchasable standalone?

A: No, Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare is a separate expansion for Halo Wars 2 and is not included as part of the Season Pass. Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare will require Halo Wars 2 to play.

Now this extension is included in a new edition, we don't really have the same definition of "Ultimate"

Recently I've found this information on your website :

"With the release of the new expansion and several months of updates to Halo Wars 2 since launch, the Ultimate Edition of the game will be replaced with Halo Wars 2: Complete Edition. The Complete Edition includes the base game, all Season Pass content and
the Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare expansion, making this a great package for anyone who is looking to jump into the Halo Wars 2 experience."

The term "will be replaced" is supposed to mean that Ultimate Edition owners have their edition replaced with the complete one, so why this new edition is shown as not bought ? The "will be replaced" is supposed to imply that all Ultimate Edition owners
have Complete Edition, and consequently Awakening the Nightmare

So I don't understand the logic here, I'm looking for clear explainations in order to not buy it especially if I should have it for free.

Thanks in advance for the additional informations you can provide,

    Bicicchi Lucas

Buying Halo Wara 2 on xbox live is a nightmare

because the codes are generated by a small team and not to mention there is a waiting list

You do realize that it's probably thousands of people right a day this also avoids spam queueing games which would delay your download by weeks

Especially preordered that occurred before Dec 17th

Generating a code is different then you getting a datafile with a license

i guess you're right.....a multibillion dollar company can't hire a bigger team to support one of the biggest gaming franchise..... it makes total sense.

    You don't get the issue

Spam queueing the same game all at once

It doesn't matter how many codes are generated it's either wait weeks to download the game because of the long queue of everyone redeeming the same game all at once which also includes every other game or wait a few days for the code for downloading a game

This is done by all services just to avoid this issue

It makes more sense to spread it out

Major game releases already deal with this issue cod always have queueing issues the first launch day

There is only so many times a game can be queued all at once
