Buying Gold with Microsoft Account funds HELP!

I am wanting to renew my GOLD LIVE subscription, i have £45 in my Microsoft Account, but it will not let me pay for my subscription using this money!

Is there a way to pay for LIVE using the funds in my MS wallet?

Can I buy an Xbox Live Gold membership with the currency in my Microsoft account?

Purchasing Xbox Live Gold

Is it possible to purhase gold with the funds on your microsoft account? I have a 15$ microsoft card and wish to buy a month of gold but unsure if this method will work.

Gold has never been able to be purchased with Microsoft account funds. The only ways that you have ever been able to buy gold is with either a credit card/paypal or with a prepaid gold subscription card.

The money is in my account, i can use the funds in my PSN account to buy PSN+ with.

No online service lets you use in-game currency for subscriptions

That's why you have prepaid cards if you want pay as you go you pay full price for pay as you go

Dashboard memberships and online memberships are by nature renewable memberships meaning you need to have an renewable payment option

You never could pay with ms points or currency because you had a pay as you go payment option prepaid cards
