    Buying Gold monthly in the UK


    I'm trying to upgrade my account in the UK, which is proving to be extremely difficult. I want to purchase the Gold monthly membership at £5.99 but on the dashboard the only option is the annual £39.9 option, helpfully. And on the website I keep getting
    redirected to the US payment site to pay in Dollars, which, at the current exchange rate is £6.66 pcm and will fluctuate every month due to exchange rates. How on earth do I upgrade my account in the UK from the website on a monthly basis? This has to be the
    most frustrating company I have ever had to deal with. It should be a simple 'change country' button, but seems to be far more complicated than it actually needs to be.

    The free internet apps, are locked behind the Gold firewall, thus not freely available. A valiant effort on your part but, you have nothing to defend. Nice ASCII sword, though... Buying Gold monthly in the UK ;)

    I tried that, it didn't work as I was already in the UK region but I spoke with customer support and there is a tiny link right at the bottom of the page that lets you change regions on the website, this should be way more prominent I think but it's solved

    I live in the UK and had the same problem. All you do is go to Xbox Live Gold >> Join Xbox Live. then scroll all the way to the bottom, in the bottom left you'll see "United States" in fineprint click it then click United Kingdom / Great Britain on the list.
    Then go to the get gold and it'll be in the UK prices.

    You will need an XBox Gold membership to play any games online. You can also buy monthly XBox gold cards.

    you could always do subscription for them it was be the best option and cheaper than buying them gold monthly
