Buying games on Xbox app...

Welcome to the Xbox Community! Any digital game you purchase is attached to your account. Just make sure you make the purchase with the same account you want to use on your new Xbox. This way you can play all of your games on any Xbox Console just by logging
into the console using your email. All your purchased games will show up under
My Games & Apps > Games > Ready to Install.

Usually, games and other downloads you buy appear among your games and apps and begin installing automatically. To check:

1. Press the Xbox button
   
   on
   your controller to open the guide, and then select My games & apps >
   See all.
2. In the games list, make sure the filter is set to All games.
3. If you don't see your game or add-on, select Ready to install and see if it appears there.

If you still aren’t seeing your game or add-on:

1. Press the Xbox button
   
   
   on your controller to open the guide.
2. Highlight—but don’t select—My games & apps.
3. Press the Menu button
   
   
   on your controller, then select Refresh and check for your item.

Glad you joined the Xbox community if you purchase a game through the digital store it is saved in your Xbox account so it does know you purchased the game through the Microsoft Store and if you have a console linked to the app you can remotely install the
game. Or you can install later going through My games & apps > Games you can read more on the support
page in the link I provided below.

Welcome to the community! If you purchase a game digitally on your account, you will be able to access it when you get your console. If you receive a digital download code via email upon purchase, you can redeem your code on Xbox.com at any time on your
account to digitally own it! You don't have to buy it through the xbox to get it!

Of course, if you can buy it, it's a great game, I highly recommend it

But there is on the game pass app i can go into settings and choose which xbox i want to download to. But it only works for game pass games and not the games i buy on the xbox mobile app.
