Buying games on the Xbox store

Im just wanting to know what will happen if i buy a game on the xbox store which is very expensive. Like after putchase is it saved to my profile so if i had to get a new cbox it will be saved to my consol and no need to pay again ? Can someone pls help

Once you purchase a game from the xbox store, it is saved to your profile and is yours to keep forever

yes, purchased games tied to your account not to console or any device.

so be careful about account if you have multiple accounts.

when you buy a game, the license will be tied to your Microsoft account and you will be able to play/download that game on any other console you have. you can also play that game on PC (without buying it again) if the game supports Xbox Anywhere which quite
a lot of games support it already.

With Xbox Gold games have crazy amount of discounts and they become very cheap. that's my experience.

not forever, depends if the licence ever gets revoked by microsoft or the publisher which can happen, you own a licence not the game.

Your purchase will always be linked to your account not an individual system. As long as you have access to your account you can download and play the game on any Xbox.
