Buying game for XS but then it’s not after installing it

Ok did you put it in an internal memory or storage card or external usb drive

If external that would be why

You can only put it in an internal memory or storage card

Now I'd you are saying you have a Xbox one S

That isn't a series s

Series consoles.are different and are not considered Xbox one nor is it part of the name

Also any games.that are meant for the series consoles has to be on storage card or.internal memory

Xbox one games works regardless of Xbox one s or og or one x

And you can use any storage

But for Xbox series consoles there is only s or x not one s/x

And only games on optimized nvme or the Xbox nvme storage card will download the series version

If you put it on external it would only download the Xbox one as you arent running thr optimized nvme

When I was in the shop buying it, they said that it was compatible with the Xbox One when I tried to install it It says not compatible that it is for the Xbox XS. Will this version work on May 5th ?

Same on my end. None of my other games have this issue. It has to b the Starfield game even though I installed the XS version.

Unfortunately some developers don't optimize very well the games, this is why in some cases the performance and quality is not the same if we compare it with titles like Forza Horizon 5 or flight simulator.

As this generation started recently, is usual see things like that. Due to developers also launch Xbox One titles with X/S titles for the same game

But I think, when developers starts launching only Xbox X/S games they're going to use resources available to give us the best performance and quality balance

At the moment there is no much that we can do.
If you're doubtful about a game, try looking a review or a performance test, in that way you're going to know if it worth for you or not
