Buying for gift vouchers for someone in another country.

I live in Sweden, my sister lives in England. She wants to buy my son an Xbox gift voucher for his birthday.

I have just red on here from an old thread that any gift voucher has to be bought in the currency in is going to be spent in, but she says the website doesn't give her the option to change the currency from British pounds to Swedish Kronor.

How is she supposed to purchase a gift card for him so it can be used in the right currency?

Hi, gift vouchers/cards will only work in the country you purchased them in. So no the card will not work in America. Your only option is to use it yourself or give it to someone else in your country.

Did you get this gift from someone in another country, or did he buy it from the same country you live in?

She would need to make the purchase at a local retailer in Sweden to make that happen. There isn't a way to purchase currency across regions like that.
