Buying Digital Game When I have Disc

Launch the game without the disc inserted, then when it tells you, click on view in Microsoft store or whatever it says. Then you should see the option to buy the game.

Depends on the price to be honest.

If the digital is the lowest then I'll buy that. If I can get it cheaper on physical disc then that will be what I go for.

This is something I think the console guys need to catch up with. If I buy an EA game on disc I have to register it online with EA. That then gives me a digital copy on their Origin service. I buy a game that uses Steam on disc, I register it and I have
a digital copy on Steam.

Buy a Xbox One game from Microsoft on disc and I get nothing but that disc.

Would people put up with having to enter a code when they first play a game if they got a physical/digital bundle as it were.

As stated in your previous thread, to play a game without the disc you would have to buy it digitally. Licenses are either tied to the disc you buy or tied to the digital copy you buy.

If you buy on disc and install the game in offline mode it will install quicker, but you will still need to download the update when you sign in.

I don't plan on buying the Digital Only. Why buy it when you can have a regular Xbox and have BOTH disc and digital?

I wouldn't buy the all digital unless all your games are also digital. You'll never know when you want to play a disc game you have again.
