Buying destiny digital edition at gamestop and wanting to predownlode it

Can I buy the destiny digital edition at gamestop and be able to predownlode the game on my Xbox one..its that I want the gamestop red sparrow.or do I have to buy the game directly from the Xbox store?

You should be able to as long as you get a DLC code to download the game from Gamestop

 

The only pre-download I have seen is from the Microsoft, I could be mistaken. There still, it has been said that a update will be downloaded on the 9th to allow the game to run. It appears that the executable file is not present, or some other.

But the digital edition from gamestop just requires you to wait until the 9th to download. So, technically, the only difference in the two purchases is the content included, such as the sparrows, etc.

 

Hi there - yes, DarkAngel427 is correct. You can only pre-download if you have ordered it from the Xbox Marketplace.
