Buying currently unavailable games/dlc

So I can't purchase left 4 dead 2 on my xbox one Console (which is fine because I can just go buy a physical disk), but what if I want to purchase the dlc for the game and they are currently unavailable what do I do then? I don't want to spend money on a game if I can't purchase its dlc too.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

If the DLC is currently unavailable on Microsoft Store you may want to check the 360 marketplace as the DLCs for the game are available from there.

As long as you're using the same Microsoft account in purchasing the DLCs you should be able to access and use it on your Xbox One console.

It said game is currently unavailable. I had to go buy it from GameStop 😣

This upgrade is currently unavailable at the location specified. The only option is to buy a whole new game for $99.99

The dlc still shows a price on it in the xbox store, it doesn't say it is curently unavailable so you should be able to still buy it. Are you able to buy any other dlc for mass effect 2 or any other xbox 360 game?

I have the same problem. I tried to buy the game digitally but all i get at the L4D2 store page is "Currently Unavailable." Anyone know why?
