    I am trying to browse games in the Xbox 360 marketplace thru the web on my PC, and I just want to try downloading any content for free (like game demos) to see how it works, but I always encounter the error - "This offer is not valid in your region" .

    Here are my questions:

    1.) I am planning to purchase the game itself, but if the free demo or other add-ons are not valid in my region, does it mean the game itself is not also available for me to purchase or download? or only demos are having errors, but I can still buy the game?

    2.) Since I'm having the above problem, I'm hesitant to buy digital games on the marketplace. If I buy games using my console (browsing games thru Xbox live), is it possible to have the same issue? I dont want to buy games and have it downloaded just to
    know it will not work =(

    From what I understand as long as you can view the games from your console in the marketplace, it means it is readily compatible (or the region is compatible) for your console (please correct me if I'm wrong on this).

    3.) will the above issues be fixed by changing regions? because I live in the UAE, and in my Billing details the United States is locked (I cannot change it). I dont know why it is locked, is it because I have existing xbox game pass subscription or because
    I selected English as the default language when I was starting to set up my account?

    I subscribed to Xbox games pass by mistake *since it is only 1 $ for the first month, I did not know it is only for xbox one, but I will cancel it soon.

    I have so many games that I want to purchase and download, please help me fix these.

    STX not available in my region

    then you must use your UK account

    as it applies you cannot buy from another marketplace you can only buy from your account regions marketplace

    if you are getting this content isn't available in your region then it is infact region locked when you are using the UK account

    you cannot use a irish account to access the UK marketplace

    thats wwhy you are getting the offer isn't available in your region

    for the best experience your physical region and account region should always match



    if you mean STEAM that is a completely different marketplace place and is for PC not for the xbox

    you will have to take the issue up with stx developers

    Ive tried to buy from Singapore region but it was listed as x360 arcade. different from US marketplace..Either way, both gave me "not valid for your region'. my xbox is bought in Singapore btw

    I got a solution have you tried to restart your xbox one and if you do it will work

    Go to Settings>System>Language and Location>And press restart
