Buying Backward Compatible games for XO

Hello there!

I am little bit confused at the moment. I was very happy to see addition of Saints Row 2 to Backward Compatible games but i have no idea how to buy it. Is it the same as it is with any other game ? Xbox One is my first console i dont own 360 if that has
to do something with it. Can i just search Saints Row 2 on the Xbox marketplace and buy it ?

Sorry for this type of question but it confuses me.

If you buy one of those Xbox cards coming in various denominations ala apple or Google play, you can purchase Xbox one games on your Xbox one WITHOUT a credit card. BUT if you buy an Xbox 360 game on the Xbox one you CANNOT use the Xbox cards you have to
use a credit card. Why?

glad they added the games to the store but doesn't let me buy using points still asks for a credit card,is there a way to set it up to use points.

You would need to own a physical copy of the game or purchase a digital copy from the store on the console.

If your going to purchase the Digital Version keep in mind you cannot use Credit from your Microsoft Account you can only use a Credit or Debit Card to complete the purchase.

 

Just purchase the digital copy of it. Have fun!

Hello, You should be able to search this game in the Marketplace. IT will install then load up via the XBox 360 screen.
