Buying an XBOX One in Spain but want to play games in English

Hi, I live in Spain and I'm buying an XBOX One here. I want to have the console in English and play games in English. I have heard that if I live in Spain, I will
ONLY be able to play games in Spanish. Is this true?

changing the language on downloaded games

Hi, I´m English but live in Spain. I want to download Fallout 3, but as my region is listed as Spain, will it download in Spanish? I want the English version, so is it possible to specify or change the language? My dashboard is in Spanish which is fine,
but I tried to change my location to UK so I now have a strange hybrid dashboard, some in English some in Spanish I´ve seen Fallout 3, want it very badly, but want it in English. Help?

 

Issues voices on Dead Space, Gears of War 2 and text on Halo Wars spanish version

No no, thats not true. Gears of War is not in full english or in english with subtitles. I will try to explain myself.

Im from Spain (Europe):

If i download Dead Space from Spain, the game is in full english. To play Dad Space en full spanish i need change the country of my console to Italy and download it.

If i download Gears of War 2 from Spain, the voices of the intro are en spanish mexican and the voices in gameplay are in english. If i download Gears of War 2 from, Germany, Mexico, Portugal, Chile, France, Hong Kong, etc... the intro is in spanish of Spain
and the ingame voices are in english... Why only the intro in spanish of Spain and the rest of the game in english?

If i download Halo Wars from Spain, the game is in full english, and the original versión was at least subtitled in spanish.

 

you can set your region to englisch and everything will be in english... provided the game itself is multi language which so far like 98% have been to my knowledge. I live in germany and do the same.

Most games also offer language selection in game (like Dragon Age, Witcher, Fifa, etc.)

After you get set up on Xbox One, just go to settings and change the language to English and still have Spain set as your country on Xbox One.

 

Currently it's not possible to set the location to "Spain" and the language to "English".

The locations that are available for "Espanol" are Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Espana and Mexico.

The locations that are available for "English" are Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, UAE, United Kingdom and the United States.

Some games like Battlefield 4 or The Witcher 3 offer to change the language in-game, if your preferred language is available. Depends on the game.

 

Okay, didn't know that Spain users cannot use another language right now, I hope Microsoft does a patch to have your preferred language no matter what territory you're at. Like for example, if you live in Sweden, then Swedish language is the only language
available.

 

Never understood (since DVD),why i can choose several languages & subtitles to watch a movie.But it's not possible for games (just a few)....

And it's not related to devices but more on what the devs includes on the disc....Seems most of them doesn't care to include this option.
