Buying an Xbox One from a Different Country.

I read somewhere why was because the Xbox One Dashboard/Xbox Live thingy or certain apps wasn't ready for some regions.

It's still better to purchase such an equipment from your country, that way you're protected by your countries consumer rights laws. New Zealand and Australia have such laws but if we over here, buy stuff from the US or elsewhere, we're not quite protected.
That's why you won't see me buying stuff from like Amazon. People do it over here, but for me not if I'm spending several hundred dollars.

actually NOPE..... XBs sold in a specific region will use that native language....Currency, Dashboard APPs ETC.

Your examples are with a 360.... not with an XB1...

Nonsense .....

Every XB will be able to recognize all languages , its just that support for some languages is not ready yet which is why there is delays in certain countries. It doesnt mean that if you buy a german xbox for example you will only be able to speak german
to it ... that would be idiotic beyond belief.

Also im pretty sure the localisation and currency is tied to your xbox live account not the console. When I came back from the States to live in the UK I bought a UK 360 and set it up for UK region etc. Once I loaded my live account onto it ( which was created
and tied to the States ) my currency and dashboard showed dollars and US apps.

As stated by the post below yours, all xbox ones and games are region free. It wont matter where you buy it. The only thing that will matter is where you perform the console setup. So you will have no problem buying one from somewhere else and using it in
your country. As long as you set it up in your own country you will be fine.

The only restrictions you will have for the time being is the voice commands which I assume will work once support for your region is added.
