    Buying a wrong edition of FIFA23


    , I tried to buy FIFA 23 in my Xbox series S and play with my friend. After I played the trial of 10 hours, I confirmed that I want this game and purchased it yesterday. However, when I tried to play with my friend, I was informed that it is not available. After some research on the internet, I finally noticed that I bought the wrong version of FIFA 23 and the one that I bought belongs to the old gen. The version that I bought is the old gen one and not able to play with my friend in the new gen. Is there any way for me to update it to the Xbox series S version? I tried to refund it but it was declined.

    I can install the EA 3 day early access base version only. All the Fifa23 versions state "Buy". I am trying to see if XBox support can help but after 1.5 hours with them they are still looking into it.

    It could be a number of reasons. Firstly, could you tell us what hardware you have:

    - Is it a laptop or a desktop?

    - what hardware does it contain, specifically: CPU, RAM, GPU (and power supply if a desktop)

    - Are the graphics only bad on FIFA23 or is it the same with other games?
