Buying a used XBOX One...Would you do it?

It's better to pay more for a factory sealed Xbox console bought from an authorized retail store which comes with a 12 month warranty, than risking buying second hand from a non-authorized person/company. Microsoft does ban consoles with modified internal
parts and I heard that if you sign into a bad console that your account can get banned instantly. There are bad people out there and I feel it's best to get it through retailers list by Microsoft as an authorized retailer. And I want to know the history of
my console. The history of my Xbox 360 slim console and Xbox 1 console = I brought it from an authorized retailer it came with a 12 month warranty and that it was bought brand new factory sealed. I don't have to worry about my account getting banned because
naturally it's a 100% genuine console not some refurbished or used console by some random. Some stuff it's OK to buy second hand but not really for your electronic devices.

I have bought both New and Used consoles. New, I have had to return for repair and still wound up getting back a hunk of junk. (xbox, and the 360) which had 2B returned yet again.

Used, I often got cheap enough so that if needed. Repairs could be done without much added cost.

Xbox One however I would suggest getting New as its hardware is married through the software, to one another.

Agreed Bizarro, you can do that. I still have this issue with buying a used disc. I still remember the last used disc I purchased for me. 8 years ago. The Godfather 2.

I wouldn't touch a used console at all.
