    does this promotion apply to pre ordering the gears 4 console? in other words, if i pre order the console, will I be able to select an extra game for free even though the console releases on the 7th and the promotion ends on the first? I already have the
    console bundle pre ordered. I will appreciate any help. Thanks!

    What a waste you buying a new Xbox one S and don't know about Xbox live account and its contents that can't be transfer into a new account. Just start fresh and get a job.

    The current free game promotion is for purchasing an Xbox One, not One S. Any free games with the One S would be the games included in the bundles. Depending on the store you're purchasing from, you would get the option to choose your game during purchase
    (as seen here)

    Also, since the promotion is taken care of by the retailers, that is why Xbox support does not handle the promotion.

    Hi,

    A common problem when running newer games on such older hardware like the original Xbox One and Xbox One S. The Xbox One lacks the processing and graphics power of the Series X and S consoles. I'm afraid there isn't anything you can do to improve things
    on your Xbox One. You'll need a Series X or S to get a better visual experience.

    Luckily if or when you buy a Series X or S, your game will be updated to the Series version for free.
