Buying a game I already bought.

Back in the Xbox 360 gen I purchased Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game and downloaded it onto my 360. I even have proof of purchase with an order number available.

Moving onto today, I now have an Xbox One S and I wanted to re-download and play this game only to find out that it wasnt available to be re-downloaded.

Now its January 2021 and I found out that the game is being re-released and is available for current gen Xbox consoles with no confirmed release date.

My question now is when this game releases am I going to have to buy it again?

yes I am signed into the right account, the payment went though but I did not get the game..

Yes, if you want to. Because it's considered a different version of the game.

Its not backwards compatible, so will not download to Xbox One

The remake is out next week, and as the other person said, is a seperate game

I'm having a similar issue. I own minecraft on xbox, and it is an xbox play anywhere title right? anyways I can't play it on pc for some reason... It even let me install it on pc but it wouldn't allow me to play, it just sent me to the windows store to buy
the game that i already own on xbox.
