Buying a 2nd Xbox (Digitial version)

Hello - firstly, I am not in the least bit technically minded and do not play any consoles, so please bare with me!

My 2 sons have a xbox One S - digitial version. it was bought 2 years ago. They play on it using separate Microsoft accounts (Both in my name). I think all the downloaded games have been downloaded through the one Microsoft account which was first used to set up the xbox. They use it split screen for games like fortnite.

They now want another console so that they have got one each. Sometimes they want to play on their own but a lot of the time they want to still play the same games with each other (fortnite) as a team but they want their own xbox and tv.

HELP PLEASE. If I purchase another xbox for them I am presuming it needs to be another digitial games one? Also, I have read mixed things about whether they will be able to download and play games on the new xbox whilst the other one is also playing.

Any and all advice would be very much appreciated.

You just need to set your son's A account as Home Xbox on the new console in that way all of his games that were purchased will be playable on Son's B's account.

Don't worry, Fortnite is free, you will just need to download it.

I'm sorry, but can you explain the following - if the new xbox isn't digital and all the games they have purchased previously have been digital downloads then how do we download them onto a non digital console.

Hi, it is me again!

On reading reviews on the Xbox Series S - 512 GB SSD, some people are complaining that the storage isn't sufficient. Perhaps these are individuals who would require a lot more storage that my sons, but I would like your opinion on this issue.

The games my son would definitely require to be downloaded are Fortnite, Call of Duty, Rocket league and Rugby20. Do you think that the Xbox Series S - 512 GB SSD is going to have enough storage for these games? Obviously I would also like him to have some storage to spare so he can download other games if need be.

So son A will login to the new console and set it as "home" and then he can download the games for Son B onto the new console.

Once he has done the above, can he then return to his "original" console and play all the games he wants to, and Son B can login to the new console with his microsoft profile and also play the games AT THE SAME TIME? If they want to?
