Buyers remorse, any suggestions for getting the most out of the Xbox One for our situation?

@Jena ~ I mean it's presented cinematically in real-time, and as splosions are sploding and enemies are enemying, in vast open areas with vehicles thundering here and there, amid particle effects being particled, chromatic aberration being aberrated, and
light shows, uh, lighting things... the resolution adjusts in real-time as your frame-rate is being threatened with slideshow-itus.

The resolution adjusting in split-screen as one player is looking at splosion-enemy-vehicle-central, and the other is looking at the first players' avatar's butt... causes all kinds of problems. Heh. You could have both screens at around standard definition
with nary an effect on either side of it, I guess, but then you're playing a poo game.

Unfortunately the only reason the game needs the progressive resolution system is because the Xbox One can't handle consistent, high resolutions and frame-rates like a high-end PC, so developers have to use these tricks to get around hardware constraints.
DOOM will be using a similar technique when that hits. RAGE used it last-gen to achieve consistent 60 fps.

This gen of consoles didn't exactly hit with a blast that blew all our socks off, and hair back, in terms of power. But as with last-gen's launch titles compared to the stuff we were seeing by the end, or today rather... things'll improve in-engine, techniques,
workarounds and tricksies, to where you can hardly believe they're on the same system.

Or the hardware will be replaced earlier than last gen. Or streaming will become more of a thing...
