buyer beware when buying titan fall

i bought titan fall tuesday when it came out. i have not been able to play one second of the game. the problem is that when i choose play, the connecting retrieving match making play list comes up. and that's it. nothing happen's. i uninstalled and re-installed
the game 12+ times. i have been through 4 different copies of the game. i have reseted and restarted my router, modem and xbox one plus cleared my xbox one cache 12+ times. i unplugged and replugged everything. i have been through 3 days of hell with titan
fall. and others are having this problem as well. if the game works for you, i am glad. if you have not bought this game, just beware of this issue. it is happening to a lot of other people. i can't play the game because the match making playlist will not
download. this has happended across 4 different copies of the game. gamestop let me do an even trade for another games as their store policy does not allow a refund, only an exchange for another game if the game don't work. and all 4 copies didn't work. i
am never ever gonna buy a online only game again. ever. if titan fall had a traditional single player campaign i could play, i would have kept it. but since it won't connect online for me, i have a $65 cup coaster. so i was left with no choice but to exchange
it for a different game all together. this is one of may reasons why online only games are no good. buyer beware.

Digital vs Disc - Discussion

So quick question if i have a buy titan fall disc when i put in my system it installs the FULL game not a partial amount? cus if so then i think i will also buy titan fall digital to have faster access to it

 

Steering wheels compatible with the XB1?

Thrustmaster and mad Katz both have wheels out... but I've heard a lot of complaints about both. Buyer beware. I'm waiting until Logitech releases their XBO specific wheel this fall.

 

Bit hasty getting rid , plenty people getting in games and such , so it sounds more like a problem with something other than the game itself.

 

COD ghosts, dead rising 3, ryse and killer instinct connect online just fine for me. titan fall will not connect online and download the play list. the only logical reason is there is something wrong with titan fall. others are having this issue as well,
not just me. if the game works for you, good. but it is not working for others. i am just trying to make people who have not bought the game aware of this issue. after 3 days and 4 different copies of the game and resetting and restarting everything. i am
done with the game. i am not gonna wait who knows how long for a fix, if one can even be found. $65 is too much to spend on a game to let it sit on my shelf. none of my other games have a problem connecting online. just titan fall.

 

This happens with most new release MP games. Why this is still a surprise to some people is odd. I assume you will also return Destiny if there is a problem with it as well?

 

My friend had trouble connecting as well. You'd think they would be prepared for this.

 

Its an EA game.Its what we expect from them.They will ruin the new Dragon Age game as well I believe.

if i can't connect online to destiny but i can play offline in single player, i will keep the game. the reason i took titan fall back was because i could not play the game after 3 days. i have to connect online to play. i can't connect online to play because
the game/servers whatever the issue is, will not let me. so i can not play the game. what am i suppose to do? stare at it? if i can't play the game, the game is a coaster. if there was a single player mode i could play, i would have kept it. but since after
3 days and 4 copies i can't get online with the game, i took it back. why would i keep a game i can't play?

 

Sounds weirs. I havent heard of the issue and none of my friends have had a problem at all. Did you try having a friend invite you to a game to see if it worked?

 

ok so let me get this straight. A game with online has server issues for 2 days at launch and you give up? There are so many people playing right now! Sounds like you are maybe a bit hasty in your decision. Maybe you should just stay calm and waited for
fixes. Respawn and EA have been all over the updates and have been patching and fixing 24/7 since launch. I understand you tried all you thought you could but this just seems like a hasty decision and you probably could be in playing if you were more patient.
Sorry about your issues though.

I would have been disappointed if mine had not worked, but with a day one release of a online multiplayer game issues will happen. No getting around it, they cant prepare for any and every little problem that could arise. It happens, it sucks but its part
of online gaming unfortunately.

 

Possible servers issues at launch? I've been playing it fine since 2 am launch day. I know XBL online was having issues the other day, but I have no problems whatsoever.

And btw, Destiny is an online MMO as well, no sp.
