    Buyed a gamertag by accident


    I was looking at some gametags for a friend. Then I seen one. My phone Wi-Fi was moving slow so kept clicking check availability then all of a sudden it said purchased...can I get the money refunded and get my other gamertag back ?

    Getting 30 day error when trying to transfer Live ID on Gamertag

    I'm trying to transfer gamertag that was created by accident to another Live ID so I can transfer my real gamertag to my main Live ID. When I try to transfer the gamertag that was created by accident to another Live ID I get an error that states that I can't
    transfer because it's been less then 30 days since account change or has been created. The gamertag was created by accident on March 1st 2012, it has been more then 30 days. I've talked to Xbox support several times(mostly via chat) and even have SRN 1174566478
    but pretty much been told that this is my only option.

    You can try contact support and speak to billing, but there are generally no refunds for gamertag changes. (Mod removed-Personal info) if you're in the US/Canada or http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, you only get one free Gamertag change when you create an account, and any change after that will require a purchase.
