Rent a server is a double edge sword. Cool to put settings to private for clan matches since BF3 didn't have free private servers for clan matches. Or advertise clan recruiting as server name. But some admins were goons if they were losing. Also rent
a server was buggy on BF3. Server name and description would vanish after having to many admins for the server. I know I got a few free servers out of it. Or the player count default would switch from 12vs12 to 2v2.

In my opinion I hated the Rented Servers mostly because of the never ending games, I like to play all the maps with 250-300 Tickets Conquest.

^^Yeah, the default settings are better than BF3 for sure now, but a few more tickets would be OK IMHO.

I just played a 90 minute match on my BF3 server the other day, took some getting used to, the matches on BF4 Xbox One are OK, the only reason why I ever rented in the past was because of the short 5 minute default servers on BF3, Glad they found some middle
ground on BF4.

They (rental servers) are NOT out yet. Yes, there were Dbag Admins, but I think rental servers were the best thing about BF3. I could pick the map rotation I wanted, the game mode I wanted, and the high ticket count I wanted to play in.
