Buy from xbox game store

I'm a newbie. Trying to order some games for my grand daughter. If I order and pay thru the xbox game store, do they mail me a game or is it a download ? If a download how does that work ? Sorry, no doubt these questions were asked before. Tetris is one
of the games she wants.

Thx for answer. I live in Poland, my XOne location is also set to Poland. I have full Membership from few years, and before I didnt have trouuble w with getting games (both for XOne and X360) Now I can get fame from Game with Gold for XOne, but I cannot

Sorry to hear it. Which country do you live in and is your gamertag set to the same country? Also, do you have a full gold membership or only a trial?

If a game is not available in your region then you will not be able to download it. Only a full gold membership can be used to download games with gold 360 games.

 

If you're ordering from the console itself or from xbox.com, it's a digital download. You would need to be signed into her account in order to purchase the games for her.

 

Can I order from my account and give her the digital download code ?

 

No. When you purchase games digital from Xbox they are added directly to your account. You're not given a download code. You can purchase digital codes for some games through other retailers, but not all games can be purchased that way. I'm not sure if Tetris
would have that option.

 

The other option would be to just purchase an Xbox gift card for her, so she can add the money to her account and purchase it that way.

 

Yep, your best bet would be to get her an Xbox Live Marketplace gift card. They have redeemable codes in which the money will automatically transfer to that account and can be used on anything in the marketplace.

They don't allow you to download games from one console or account and give them to another because it would infringe on the game licenses and the Xbox Terms of Use. Members could exploit this and share games and content.

I recently bought the Resurrection game pak for Call of Duty Black Ops and can't find the new boards after down loading it. Says it's pending. Shows in my account they took the money for it.

If its a 360,

1) hit the xbox guide button

2) Go to the right to the settings tab

3) Account management

4) Select download history

5)Select the dlc. Download!

Goto account.live.com and update your billing information. Reboot your console. It should work then.
