@eviltedi and Auswolf7: Have you two played Destiny? Because with my time with it, it played almost identical to Halo. It was a pleasant surprise to me because the way it has been hyped up and discussed, I was imagining it to play like Borderlands, but I
felt right at home. I was shocked at just how much it felt like Halo. It seriously felt like Halo and the Old Republic joined forces. Destiny is the natural successor to Halo.

I agree, Destiny had a very Halo vibe in the limited time I played the Alpha on PS4. It reminded me of a Halo/borderlands hybrid with a little mass effect thrown in.

I'd say get Destiny. Its closer and the gap between the two games is large. Unless you meant the MC collection...

Destiny has a beta coming up in a few weeks, and many people will be streaming their gameplay on Twitch.tv . Very useful if you want to see if the game is something you'd actually like to begin with, before committing to buying it.

Destiny has been long in the works. If it turns out 2B half the game we expect it 2B it will still be a good one.

They are very different games, destiny is more similar to a MMO and halo has multiplayer maps.

I would get destiny and pick up halo when you have some more money.
