buy as gift

i live in the uk and bought my friend who lives in sweden destiny 2 on x box store as a gift but it wont let him install because of region, he tried to change region but this didnt help ........ any advice..?

Option to buy as a gift is still there. There's a separate option of "Buy as Gift" other than "Buy" that you use for gifting.

Hi! In this case you would have to get a refund from Xbox Support as you can only gift content to other players from your country: Contact Us | Xbox Support

 

The seller and the receiver must be living in the same region.
