Buttons not working or responding SLOWYLY or not at all.

In the last couple of weeks I have been experiencing problems with the buttons on both of my controllers.

We have switched controllers.

Removed the batteries from the controllers.

Charged the controllers to 100%.

Powered off the console.

Restarted the console.

Don't really want to refresh the console - did that about three weeks ago and downloading games takes forever.

For example;

In Fortnite if I log in a second account to play split-screen pressing the Xbox button and navigating to the account screen works fine. After logging in and returning to Fortnite and attempting to press and hold A to log in the second player the button doesn't
work.

While playing we have noticed the controller behaving erratically.

In Outer Worlds when I go to the window screen and do something like upgrade a weapon, I have to press A many times before the button press is recognized.

What do you think will cure this problem?

Probably a problem in the control itself then. Do you want to update your xbox settings?

Sending them to MS is tedious as I live in Thailand. MS isn't well represented here.

Have you tried using your controllers in wired mode to see if the same problem occurs?

Xbox controllers use 5Ghz Wireless to connect to your Xbox, are there any devices that use that frequency in your home? Could be a 5ghz router? or a Cordless phone? Wifi repeater?

Other signals do interfere with the Controller at times (Causing input latency or no transmission at all)

Does your tv have a game imput setting?(hdmi1, hdmi2, aux, dvd) soinds like your experiencing button lag and that setting should calibrate to the controller. What happens when you use that controller as a wired one?

The controller firmware is up to date. What settings do you recommend updating?
