    There is a way to mute the annoying sound that the power button do? Before the last update you were able to launch the xbox one with the controller without doing that annoying sound.

    power button sound issue...

    I can't remember if I noticed this before or not, but when I press the power button on the console, the charm sounds. But If I turn the console on with the controller, there is no charm that sounds on the console, it just turns on...

    Am I crazy or has this always been like this?

    I recently got a new xbox after a hiatus so I can't remember.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    power button sound issue...

    you ONLY get the sounds if you turn off and on the system from the console's buttons same with the eject sound.

    Sadly no but if you click Here' you can request that feature off the console or add a setting to remove it.

    Ive already done both of those things as well as ive tried three other headsets as well which do not work either.

    Well, that didn't seem to work either, but thanks for the suggestion. I didn't see that one.

    There's just something about that sounds I kind of like for some strange reason, but I don't think this problem is going to get fixed. Technology in my hands has never been known for taking the easy or common route to a fix. :)
