Button remapping ( no choice for LT & RT? )

Hi,

I just recently bought a xbox one x but using it is pointless right now. I am a disabled gamer and button remapping is great except for the problem I have right now. I can't select LT & RT as a remap option. Why leave that out?

Remapping Cuphead Controls?

Just found out yesterday about the ability to remap. I now have the RT as my shoot button and I'll move aim to LT.

 

Button remapping problems in the Elite controller

Hello,

I'm having a lot of problems with the button remapping, on the Elite controller. I've tried to remap a few different buttons to the 4 paddles on the back/bottom of the controller (the 4 removable silver things) and nothing works. No matter what I try to
remap to any of the 4, it doesn't work.

My controller is updated, and the paddles are enabled.

On the button remapping screen, in the Xbox accessories app, when you go to the "Map to" drop down box, there is no options for the paddles in there at all. On the back of the controller, they're labled as "p1, p2, p3, p4" , but those are not listed in the
map to drop down box, only the 4 controller buttons are listed there (x,y,a,b) So, that makes no sense to me at all.

Also, for example, I tried to remap LT by holding it down, so I held down LT, and it said Lt - ? , then I press P2 (for paddle 2) and immediately a circle appears, with a line through it.

This is extremely frustrating! I bought an elite controller yesterday, had these problems and then exchanged it for a new one today, and now I'm having the exact same problems on the new controller! $150 for nothing but frustration and anger so far.

Has anyone else experienced this and/or can help me get this fixed?

I think the reason (and I’m just spitballing) is because they don’t want to have digital and analog controls mixed up. Notice how you can remap the left and right stick click but not the directions? Thumbsticks and triggers and both analog.

You should make a request at the Idea Drive. I’d vote on it.

Playstation 4 let's you remap everything except direction.

I know about the adaptive controller but I rather use the normal controller. It works for me. Is there a reason why you left out RT and LT?

If I understand correctly, your not going to add RT and LT as remapping choice? That means I must find another way to use RT and LT as I like because the adaptive controller is not for me. I bought a xbox because I thought it would be great only to find
out your accessibility option for remapping does not include RT and LT.If Sony has it on PS4, it should be possible on Xbox One X so I can use a normal controller.
