    Button on controller completely broken?


    Hi! I have a small issue with the A button on my Xbox controller. For everytime I'd press the A button, it'd stick a little. This went on to the point where today, it'd stay pressed down for a few seconds and would only come up
    if I managed to get it unstuck . But an hour ago this happened again, but the A button won't come up. I flipped the controller upside down to try to get it fixed, but what's strange is the button got unstuck when I did so. So I flipped it back to its normal
    side and it went back to being stuck in the button socket. It seems that the A button neither got completely loosened up or stuck. Any tips on what's going on?

    Have you tried another controller? Maybe the "x" button is broken on your controller.

    Does this happen with other controllers? Does it still happen when you take the batteries out and connect the controller to the console with a USB cord?

    You can also check the "Xbox Accessories" app in "My Games & Apps" and reset your controller to defaults. Open the app, select "Configure", and then select "Restore defaults". This will reset any custom button mappings to the default configuration. Check
    for a
    controller firmware update     if you still have issues.
