But is it worth it?

Hypothetically speaking, say the game launched without a hitch. No lag or sign in problems. No typical launch day problems. Does the gameplay honestly feel like it's worth the time, effort and money?

I've only recently discovered the joy of mmo rpgs with Neverwinter and I'm on the fence, but curious about ESO. I realize Neverwinter has it's fair share of issues, but personally, it's the only game I've played since downloading it and I show no signs
of stopping. I'm wondering how ESO compares to NW? No real reviews out there to get a general feel.

Its alright. Its MUCH different from Blood Money. Blood Money was worth every penny of $60 but this game doesn't quite give you the same enjoyment. So get it get used if you can and save some money.

I would say its not worth 60 bucks. I thought the single player story was not all that great, played it but, have no reason to go back through. And SVM can be a let down, seems rather unbalanced, and buggy at times. Not to mention lag and host connection
problems.

 

in my opinion yes! its like skyrim and that is fantastic!

 

Without the launch issues I would say yes without a doubt. I have spent more than half my time running around randomly killing things, gathering materials, or making weapons and armor for new players coming out of the tutorial. Keep in mind that any mmo
will have serious launch issues and the people that are raging hardcore have not gone through that (WoW, runescape, ever quest, perfect world, forsaken world, guild wars, etc)

 

Without the issues I have experienced (can't log in, log in only to get booted an hour in, group members invisible, laggy/glitchy gameplay, quest bugs galore.....) I would certainly say this game would have been worth the $60 I spent on it. Currently though
I would have deleted it already if it were free. Not worth a penny in its current state. It's not playable right now in my humble opinion.

 

Yes it is worth it.

It is basically Skyrim online. Enough said there.

One thing that I love, is that as a lower level, you can kill.one 15+ levels above you, if you are good enough. It is not like they resist block or dodge you all the time. Or that you miss just because you are "too low a level".

The game is very dynamic.

 

I payed 80 bucks for my version which is the downloaded version,and it take longer to try to play this game on the north American server than it took me to download the whole game.

I only played it once,and got booted off in the middle of a quest.and could not get back on after hours of trying.

I THINK THIS COMPANY MAY GET SUED FOR THIS GAME AND THEY SHOULD BE.

IM THINKING ABOUT IT TO GET MY MONEY BACK

Definitely! The game is awesome and if they fix some issues soon they can claim to have created a masterpiece! But its about preferences too so...

 

Don't think it can't happen. there are class action lawsuit going on each day,for company selling junk or things that can harm us and won by the people that sue them.We bought something that's marketed to be ready for sell and its not. We payed our money
for something and do not get it.

I bought this game about two week ago on the market place downloaded it.And could not play it on release night

others have had this problem also. Thats not right,these big companies, all over are making money off people for bad items,from cars,building supplies,food,medicine to not VIDEO GAMES.

How do you expect them to be prepared for launch where 4 million + players are trying to log on at the SAME TIME? No amount of stress test can prepare a server for such large numbers. Even doing an open beta would not have prepared for that....

THIS GAME WAS BUILT WITH A SMALL SERVER FROM THE GET GO,THAT'S WHY WE GET THE QUE AND WAITING IN LINE MESSAGES

FEELS LIKE I'M BACK IN SCHOOL STANDING IN THE FREE LUNCH LINE.

 

A lawsuit sounds like a great idea. I bought the digital emperial edition and i can't even get past the account setup screen. Their tech support didn't even try to help. They told me to contact customer support for the console manufacturer. I don't have
a problem with any other game.

 

NEVERWINTER AND SMITE ARE FREE AND THEY DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM
