Burnout Revenge

After downloading this game on the XONE, it reignited my many fond memories of the game but then the disappointment that followed in the form of Paradise. I played the backward compatible version of that let down a few months back and didn't stay on it long,
and didn't go back to it.

Having played Revenge again, I quickly got the buzz back that I got many years ago playing it. The game is a work of art imo even by today's standards in terms of gameplay - graphics aren't too bad to be fair but back in the day they were amazing along with
the blistering speed. Even now, it rivals many out there.

It got me thinking: one, why oh why introduce free roam to this style of game and undermining the whole ethos of close knit racing? Two, why on earth have they not considered a Revenge 2? On today's consoles, what wonderful things they could do with it.
Crash mode brought back, the whole Revenge mantra coursing through its veins, battling rivals to the sight of trading paint and sound of crunching metal! They could redefine the arcade racer all over again and I'd queue for days to be one of the first to get
my hands on it and I don't normally believe in that crap!

I so hope they have something in mind, but NOT a follow on from the tripe that was Paradise. The game where yout pretty much saw no-one in a race until the finish line.

blasphemy! burnout revenge not a racing game? bite your tongue infidel! i spent a LOT of hours on burnout revenge and having fun while doing so. burnout paradise was too hard to control and so i gave up on that...i prefer the more arcadey type games like
