    Burned up xbox one contoller.


    I purchased an additional Halo controller last Christmas for the kids. About a month ago it quit working and I removed the back to see if the batteries were dead. When I took the batteries out I noticed the plastic on the controller was melted. Upon further
    visual inspection it was apparent that a chip in the controller had burned causing the plastic to melt. Is there a warranty on the controller?

    Hi Xbox, for the Controller to be use on windows sounds really good, this feature would be great to use on a iMac i do have an iMac my self and would like to see this happen.

    Burned up xbox one contoller.

    Controllers and other accessories typically have a Microsoft warranty of 90 days from purchase date.

    Unfortunately, if it's from last Christmas, it's already out of warranty time by now. Your only option is to purchase a replacement controller.

    You may request a repair, but because of the expired warranty status on the controller, they're just going to make you order a new one at full price anyway.

    I would suggest to go for Xbox One X, if possible. I just picked up Xbox One X with a Gears of War Red Custom Contoller and enjoying it.
