    Burned DVDs not working? fix?


    I "backed up" some of my movies using ConverttoDVDX software. I tried the Avengers and Mad Max. When I play them it is choppy in the beginning and then the audio is delayed to the movie. It works fine on my DvD player, but the XBox One just doesn't want
    to do it. Anyone know why? I am using the Blueray App dpn't know if there is another App to use.

    Burned CDs/DVDs

    Mine ( new 360 slim) will. I had a bunch of Scooby Doo's on DVD. I got tired of swaping them out every so often. I made one huge Scooby Doo DVD and it works fine. Just for the record its the Scooby Doo from 1969 and 1970 ( the good ones), lol.

    What type of burned CD's, DVD's would you be referring too?. Do you mean illegal copies?.

    If you burned them from the original owned dvd simply pop that in your xb1 and just like magic no more problems.

    It copies the movie to my Hard Drive then writes it on the DVD. I played it on the 360 with no issues. SO I have to assume its the Xbox One.

    Guide On Laser Burn

    I had laser burn on a game once. I took it to my local place that rents dvds and games. They said they could fix it for 3$. They also said there is no guarantee that it would work. After about a hour later they gave me the game back. I poped the game in
    and to my surprise it worked. There is still a small scratch where the laser burn is though. But it works doesnt freeze or nothing.

    "I burned a lot of video files to DVDs" Can mean Burning Video Files into DVD Format too, as many Burn Software does... The OP has Already stated, that "Current Disc" is greyed out... So that means, that the Video's files are in the wrong format or it is
    a DVD encoded disc & it is run from the Dashboard, where you press A to start a game that's in the drive etc...
