    Hi,

    I play fortnite stw & was playing last night. I have 3 children & my husband is deployed. The person I was playing with wanted to trade (I know, I know. I'm a high level so I thought it would be ok.) They took my stuff which is besides the point. I was on
    the mic with them & chatting a bit & told him my husband is deployed. After he took my stuff I said, "Hey, where's my stuff?" & he said, "Tell your [Moderator Removed - Profanity] husband to get it. Hahaha!" I immediately disconnected the
    headset & left the party. What happens to people like this? What kind of system should I use so this doesn't happen again (besides the not trading which, believe me, I learned my lesson). Should I just not use the mic or record every game? I was really bothered
    by this & I sent him a message after saying grow up & have a nice night. The statement was very uncalled for & I did nothing to get that type of response. I just immediately unplugged & chalked it up as a loss but I heard it & so did my 4 year old over the
    tv.

    Ahh, not all parenting is bullying, but some bullying can be parenting (term used very loosely), grasshopper. *** poor parenting, but parenting nonetheless. People bullying the children of their friends is not parenting, only bullying.

    Everyone online on any gaming platform is going to be toxic. There isn't much we or Xbox can do about these gamers, especially considering it happened in party chat which isn't recorded.

    Sorry to hear you had a poor experience online! this is definitely a situation we do not want you to go through.

    The best I can advise is that you
    Report and block     the player so that the enforcement team can handle this issue.

    Follow the previous link, This will take you to the "How to mute or block other players on Xbox One" article and it will let you know what actions you can take when you run into players that are violating the Microsoft Service Agreement or Code of Conduct.

    so your point is just because you are being bullied and try to defend yourself, you are punished because bully reported first? It kinda feels like this :"hey this guy is being bullied but just because the bully reported first, lets suspend the bullied one
    for talking to his only friends"?

    I'm really glad to hear that you're okay "Hookins" :) I can definitely relate to you because was bullied as a kid, but I stood my ground and showed others that understanding / respect goes a long way indeed; never ever resorting to violence. In the end,
    the bullies stopped being bullies when they got to know and we became friends. They were really sorry for what they had done to me and the other students, and I forgave them :) The former bullies were now helping others and they (the former bullies) up
    against other bullies too :)
