    Complete novice here. Just received xbox series x, which had ultimate game pass included. Issue i have is that my son wants to retain old username from xbox one as he had all saved game data etc that he wishes to retain. Not to mention game pass has just
    been renewed so 11 months to go on this original username.

    i want to use the new game pass on the original xbox one - and in doing so creating a new username (yes it means my call lf duty progress will need to restart) but easier option of the two.

    my question - is this possible? I dont want to activate on series x, if it cannot then be used on xbox one.

    any solutions or auggestions welcomed.

    Hey Derrick,

    You are able to share your games from one account to another. By doing this the account that has Xbox Ultimate would need to log in on the Xbox One. From there go to Settings> General> Personalization> My Home Xbox, from there you would select make this
    my home Xbox. That is all that is needed to be done, Your son can sign out and you will now have access to everything Xbox Ultimate has to offer and any games that are purchased digitally. If you wanted to share games with your son as well, you would follow
    the same process but with your account on the Xbox Series X. It should also be noted that you can only share with one person at a time.

    Damn,so the series x games are just built different. And it's not possible for xbox to come out with a update to where the series x games can use more of the 16gig ram and other resources? Or it's always going to just be for those proprietary ssds?

    Same here (Germany, Xbox Series X, Game Pass Ultimate).

    I have downloaded the Game Pass iOS app which allows me to select on which Xbox (One X or Series X) I want to install the game on but it fails with "Es ist ein Problem aufgetreten" (An Error occurred).
