The biggest problem I have with my xbox one is having to get up and change the disks frequently, even through the games are installed on the console..

If there was a built in disk changer, you could store your games inside the xbox and wouldn't have to change them as often. I know it seems like old technology but if you continue to require disks to play games, its worth a thought no?

Close. The characters are built in the disk. For example, there are DLC characters you can buy with msp. Instead of buying them separately you can buy it built in the disk.

It's no different to music. Some people don't buy CDs, some buy digital. Shops will survive. What we are talking about right now is your desire to keep your butt on the seat. Only way, buy digital!

  7. Not everyone buys digital copies though. I personally prefer digital this gen since me and the lady both get the game whoever bought it. It really depends up to you though. I haven't bought a physical game in ages.

Point is, they are not going to put a multi disc changer in an Xbox one. It's old inferior tech that was always plagued with jamming problems. Do you really want that in your console.

I'm not saying people have to buy digital, but trust me. If you don't want to get up, there is not going to be another way. Never has been. Never will be.

  10. Fair enough, I do get digital copies but I like my second hand games and trade ins. I was just considering an outdated technology that would have function for many people if implemented in the design of the xbox one. CD changers were pretty popular back
in the day, they were designed for a reason and that reason is still here as long as things use disks.

the other thing I find surprising is, how often do you really swap games? Are you plaing a different game every ten mins? Even if you change once an hour, it would probably do you some good to get up and move a bit. Music was different cause people could
put in multiple CDs and hit random. I don't remember ever seeing a multi disc DVD/bluray player. This all sounds like a perfect excuse for laziness. No offence intended!

The Xbox One is already pretty mammoth, now imagine what it would look like with a 3 (or 5) disc changer inside.

Of course theres another way, simply install the Xbox into the arm of your favourite chair, and hey presto no more pesky leg action. Simple solutions for everyday problems.

i'd much rather that Microsoft kept their original plan and used DRM, then we could have installed from the disc and play the games without having the disc.

you would always have to have the disc in the Xbox One so it could check to see if you owned the game
