Build in wi-fi problem

When I'm trying to connect to internet via wi-fi, I get a message that i need to to connect a wi-fi adapter.

Wi-Fi Problem

Hi, so, my name is Guilherme, you can call me Barbs, but whatever. My problem is that my xbox isnt stable with the wi-fi thing, sometimes it connects (which is has become even rarer) normal, and I can use everything, normal, but sometimes it says that I
have a wired cable connect, but I do not, I think, somehow the wi-fi card, I can use it plugin a wi fi cable, but at the moment, I can not use one ... I should send it, To repair it? Has anyone had the same problem? What did you do to fix it? Is this a bug
on the Xbox? Or is the card in bad contact?



Note: I'm very careful with my xbox, I do not drop anything on it, and I would not let anyone open it (execept the microsoft support, obviously)

 

Playstation Vita: 3G or Wifi

I would get the 3g, you will have to pay extra each month for 3g and a lot of places have Wi-Fi now. Not much besides that, I would get the Wi-Fi. I had the original, and never had a problem getting a connection. If you have a smartphone, you could always tether.

 

Which console are you using? Does it have an internal adapter or did you purchase an external one for it?

 

I have xbox 360 slim model 1439, there is an internal adapter in it.

 

Thanks for the info. Are you able to access the wireless option at all from the settings? Perhaps the console has just forgotten your signal for some reason.

 

If it is xbox 360S then it has an internal wireless adapter. If that is not recognized, means it is a hardware issue and a repair is needed

 

I can't access to wi-fi settings. When i'm trying to do that i got message to connect an external wi-fi adapter. I tried to clear cache from hdd(it is one of the options in support FAQ) - no effect. It may be a hardware problem, but as far as i remember
this problem came with the last software update.

 

You can try deleting the update:

a.Press the Guide button on your controller.

b.Go to settings and select System.

c.Select Storage.

d.Enter the following button sequence: LB , RB , X , LB , RB , X .

e.Select the option to roll back all system updates that are installed. The console will restart automatically and then download the updates again.

But if you still have the issue, repair is going the be needed
