Bugs, crashes and slow downs since the update.

My Xbox One is showing that it is up to date, but ever since the update I have been experiences more issues than I have EVER had since owning an Xbox. The system and games load slower. I'm getting errors when I open up a game, or it lets me in then kicks
me back out. I'm also getting more crashes and glitches as well. Earlier I started Assassin's Creed Black Flag and it loaded my character by himself dead in the middle of the ocean. The game autosaves so it almost killed my whole game progress. Took me
a minute but I was able to go into the option screen, fast travel back to land, then save again so that it didn't totally kill my progress.

Apps are crashing or taking 10 times longer to load. Heck, I was even getting an error just to watch TV. I have reset multiple times but I am still getting errors and it definitely running slower. When you go to settings there is no way to try to re-install
the new update. I guess I could restore to factory then install again but this is ridiculous.

Not to mention that this new update doesn't even seem like a more intuitive method. Many of the things I enjoy seem like they take me a few extra steps to either find or get to. People complained about Windows 8 like it was the more horrible thing ever
but it had a TON of cool features (The ability to swipe from the right and search directly into an app, the ease at which you could launch multiple apps and having them running side by side, the various gestures that were easy short cuts to features and commonly
used things like sharing of stuff on social media, etc, I could go on for days). The only issue is that it wasn't something by Apple so once the reviews came in from the media everyone jumped on the "Hate Microsoft" bandwagon. Honestly this new update seems
like a step backward.

i no happy long wait slow come 1 minutes no good now, fix up go service look network bug or break down slow. i hate slow connect now. my friwnds same that..

 

Windows 10 Anniversary Update has broken the Xbox App

Since the update, the app crashes constantly, and is near unusable. I've been able to reproduce the crash through a couple of methods:

-Any time I receive a party invite, the app crashes immediately.

-If I shrink the window down small or snap to a corner, then try to join a party, it crashes immediately.

Is this a known bug that is being addressed?

 

Hey there. When you reset your console, did you just turn it off or did you do a full power cycle? To do a full reboot, open the Guide, go to the settings tab, and Restart console. If that doesn't help the stability, try turning it off from the Settings
tab, and unplugging the power cord from the back for 5 minutes.

The issue with AC sounds like it may have been a glitch in the game itself, but it's possible that it was caused by NXOE. If you see that again, I would contact Ubisoft, as well as posting here.

If none of that works, I would try the factory reset next, but if you do that, you'll want to move your games and apps to an external hard drive if possible to save you time installing later.
