Bug with resuming games: Games get stuck at "Please reconnect controller" message.

When I minimize a game, switch to another app (like Netflix), turn off my controller (because I'm watching a video), turn my controller back on, and go back to the game, the game will have a "Please reconnect controller" message. If I hit the A button to
resume nothing happens. This has happened to me a few times, with different games. When this happens, I usually go back to the dashboard, quit the game, and start it back up again.

Xbox one stuck on "please reconnect controller"

Same problem here. Easy fix (workaround) take battery out of controller and put it back in. This happened after recent March update along with quick resume not working anymore.

Xbox one stuck on "please reconnect controller"

Hi guys, can't seem to find any other posts relating to this and I hope someone can help.

When I leave my xbox on pause and go to work for a few hours or do something else when I come back to the xbox the game freezes on "please reconnect controller" just the game, I press the home button and I can go to other apps, but to play the game I have
to switch the power off at the plug and do a full start up. Sometimes, but rarely it wiIl work if I eject the game, other times it doesn't, or just press and hold the power button. But 9 times out of 10 I have to switch it off at the wall. Doesn't matter what
game I'm playing, AC Black Flag, Forza, Ryse and DR3, so the issue is with the xbox and not the game itself even though other apps work.

Anyone have a fix for this or having a similar issue?

You have to turn off the controller on the screen of the game that says reconnect the controller and turn it back on in that screen and it would work. It has happened to me a few times

It just seems broken if you have to do it that way. If you can switch apps on the fly, then they should account for someone switching to a video app, starting a video, turning off the controller, watching said video, turning the controller back on to switch
back to the game, and then resume the game. How do they expect you to return to the game if you have to leave your controller turned off? (I have Kinect, so I could use voice commands to go back, but not everyone has it)

SAVE AND QUIT

Close Minecraft fully (press three line button on Minecraft game, select quit game)

Turn off Second controller

Restart Minecraft, load into world

Reconnect second controller Should be fixed

How do you get back to the side missions? I seem to be stuck on the catwoman missions on the resume game setting.

If you are living on the rock for the past few months, this game is in preview mode, it means that it needs to be refined everytime players report bugs in the game. It is the same in the PC version which I have and playing. Sometimes the game is laggy or
sometimes you will get stuck on certain parts of the game. If you find a bug please report to Bluehole/PUBG game dev to have the bugs fixed out
