Bug reporting thread for latest Fulgore/Lobby patch

Since the new Sadira costume release, I've seen a few strange things. I, as Sadira, did a wall cling to toss myself away from a Glacius, and the Glacius player was dragged with me. I also faught a Jago player, and his white Jago multiplied into several Jagos
while on screen. This might have been frame clipping, but online is doing some seriously weird stuff of late.

 

Maybe others have noted this issue as well, but the issue where the screen freezes or goes black on the matchmaking section still happens. It's random and occurs during ranked matches.. if you play enough you will see the issue. It may depend on the connection
between players or it could be an issue with the Xbox LIVE servers, I'm not certain. Some matches have horrible lag, in those instances I attributed it to the user connecting via an unstable wireless connection. Whatever the case, I hope Iron Galaxy and Microsoft
find a way to resolve it.

The sync issues are a real problem. During two lobby matches last night, the desync was so bad we were seeing two completely different things on screen. While I was brutalizing my opponent's character, he asks if I'm still playing as on his screen, my character
was jumping randomly and NOT fighting at all... Talk about strange.

 

When is fulgores shadow meter going to be fixed

 

Can we please have somebody respond in respect to the network instability (desyncs, lag,...ect) and get a reasonable idea when these issues will be addressed? Every other match I play (lobbies, exhibition, ranked) suffers from broken frames, lag, and desync
related issues. With each patch this has gotten worse. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB, as I believe this is unbelievable. I won't be playing KI anymore until these issues are addressed. When I spend more time not being able to play competantly with my
friends than with my friends, it's time to count my losses and do something else.

 

Now that I've cooled down, I probably won't report the makers of KI to BBB. I was very "hot" this morning, but honestly, it's not worth my time.

I've noticed something else lately. I don't know if this a straight out desync or if the Netcode has just got bat crazy, but I'm having issues where what I'm seeing and playing is completely different than what my opponent is seeing. For example, I started
out desynced against a Rank 10 Spinal. I literally couldn't do anything, but stand there as his Spinal fragmented and pounded me on either side. Once he performed his ultra and I saw the ending animations I rebooted my Xbox One. A few moments later I get a
message thanking me for rage quitting. Apparently the match wasn't over on his end... I don't have any words... I've seen this happen during Lobbies where I beat somebody, do an Ultra and everything, and yet they are still beating the hell out of me on their
end. More often than not, as the match is over on my end, they'll ask me if I've stopped playing... I then respond... I just beat you... They respond... No your just standing there jumping randomly. This happened this morning during an Exhibition match as
well. The guy I was playing with asked if I had left... I'm like no... I'm just performed an Ultra on you... So I have NO idea what's going on...

Is it also considered a desync when your character seems to be several frames behind the other player. During such a state, you are unable to counter break, tech grab, and blocking becomes next to impossible? Has anybody else experienced things like this.
Generally I have to reboot KI in order to go back to normal.

 

Ultra, Instinct Cancel, CPU attempts combo breaker, gets counter broken, second ultra. Shouldn't the cpu inputs be disabled once the ultra is activated?

KRS 0N3 that is really crazy. However, you are correct. Once the Ultra starts it should be game over, no matter what is playing...

On another note. I've noticed that sometimes after I experience lag in a match, that afterward it seems like all of my character's move sets have negative frames. The reason I state this is because I will be literally destroying the other player. Lag occurs
and then afterward I can no longer counter break, go into block stun, tech grab, combo break, and combos fail 50% of the time. I don't care how unskilled my opponent is, they usually win, as I can no longer do anything that could cause damage. If this only
lasted one match, it would be okay, but I usually have to reboot KI and sometimes my Xbox in general before the glitch goes away. This is annoying as lately online, especially in lobbies, more glitches than it does features.

 

Bug for Fulgore and Sabrewulf.

Whether in the process of a combo or an opener ender - These two characters have the ability to counter break one ender respectively:

Fulgore: Shadow Energy Bolt

Sabrewulf: Shadow Eclipse

Since no one else in the cast can do this, it only makes sense that this gets patched out, (hopefully asap). It's not fair that these two have the opportunity to counter break an ender and (potentially) be safe if the person combo breaks (on an opener->ender).

 

While in a public lobby with friends that were hosting today, despite beating 1 of them 4x in a row, it gave them the wins & me the losses. Is this an in-game glitch or is my friend cheating somehow?

 

Lobby chat will not work with a TE2 fight stick using the kinetic. This is a real problem as none of the Xbox one fight stick come with a mic port. I have been trying to use the kinetic to chat with players in lobbies but I get no sound at all. Party
chat seems to work but actual lobby chat seems very buggy.

 

This was my favorite game. Pi won't go I to detail, I must have complaint hundreds of time. But I want those F/ers to know how annoying it is to lose everything. They aren't getting my $for season 2. Not until they straight out apologize for the people in
my position who don't have a single thing after months of hard work and support. They want to keep ignoring those who are suffering from this. BS to the max.

 

It has been working fine. But noticed somethinf really wrong...

Maybe most of you don't check the leaderboards for this game at all, but i had a personal goal to get to spot no.1 in ranked leaderboard. I finally made it, so naturally i kept track of my wins and other players.

Today i played some ranked in the morning and checked the board and everything was as the last time i checked. Me spot 1, trueviettl510 2, C88 IllWill 3.

When i came back later i noticed Will was in 4 now and stringfell0hok was in 3 now and i dont even remember playing vs him or seeing his gamertag ever in the top of the board, or any near to top. So, someone explain that...
