Bug Report - NFL App crashes on XBOX One when using XBOX App for iPhone as a remote

maybe you can look into it...

Every time I start my XBOX One and decide to use the XBOX App for iPhone as a remote the NFL App crashes shortly after selecting a video (e.g. NFL Network Live stream, game replay - btw: I am a NFL Game Pass user).

The video usually runs for about 2-5 minutes before the screen freezes and the loading symbol appears (just like a typical buffering procedure). But the video never continues.

I can return to the app menu and I am also able to close the app and return to the XBOX dashboard.

The matter drove me crazy since the season was about to start and I therefore tried everything possible to find the issue.

Here's what I tried and DIDN'T result in solving the problem:

- Complete XBOX One restart

- Uninstall and re-install of NFL App (on internal as well as external storage)

- Removed my external storage as a possible source for error

- Complete XBOX One Reset

- Reconfigured router; set a static IP address for my XBOX; port forwarding (although that never has been necessary for me before)

- Set a different DNS

NOTHING ever helped me in solving the issue.

Then I suddenly remembered that I use the XBOX iPhone app from time to time as a remote.

And THERE it is!

I can easily replicate the issue when using the iPhone app - the videos in the NFL app freeze EVERY time after only a couple of minutes.

Using my controller as a remote to open the app, select videos and play them works fine.

Now, maybe that's something you guys want to look into...

Good thing is, there's a work-around that does the trick, i.e. using the xbox controller...

But since there is an exclusive partnership between MS and the NFL you might want to fix this

NFL App bug

I reported this to the NFL at their email address for their app but it hasn't been fixed yet.

I subscribe to NFL Now Plus. When using the NFL App on Xbox One the amount of viewable videos in the list cuts off. For example, in the Super Bowl Highlights area, it stops at Super Bowl 16 with no way to scroll or change pages for any more videos. However
when using the NFL App for my phone or online, it goes up to the current Super Bowl. This same bug is seen in other areas of the Xbox One NFL app: NFL Films Presents, The Greatest Games, etc. The amount of videos you can watch is simply far less/cut off compared
to what's really available.

Please fix this bug of the NFL App to make all the videos available on the phone app and online website available.

 

Opening Xbox One smartglass friends list crashes the app

Hi.

After the latest update for the Xbox One smartglass on my Lumia 920, the app crashes every time I try to access the friends list, also general responsiveness is worse when using smartglass
as a remote.

Whats up?
